When you’re serving salmon, you’ll be wanting this Pinot.
2018 Belle Pente “Cuvée Classé” Pinot Noir
Willamette Valley
If you have ever come to our shop looking for an Oregon Pinot, chances are we may have pushed a bottle from Belle Pente into your hands. We have loved their products for so long and this new offering is no exception.
This is a new product for us, a blend of only 26 extremely high-quality barrels — 2/3 from the Belle Pente Estate of Yamhill-Carlton and 1/3 from Murto Vineyard in Dundee Hills. These barrels are usually reserved for fancy Estate bottlings, but these “de-classified” reserve wines were blended together to form a “Super Willamette” Pinot Noir.
Biodynamic vineyards. Bottled unfined & unfiltered. Fermented with indigenous yeasts.
Bust out the grill, cook up that salmon and get to work. Chill the Pinot for 30 minutes before you pop it open — you will thank us later.
These 14 salmon recipes from Bon Appétit will get you into salmon mode, if you’re for some reason not already in salmon mode. (“Roasted Salmon with Potatoes and Herbed Crème Fraîche,” “Slow-Roasted Salmon with Fennel, Citrus, and Chiles,” and “Slow-Cooked Salmon with Chickpeas and Greens” sound particularly fantastic.)
