This zesty Vouvray is my favorite bottle of bubbles in the whole store. I mean that. To say I enjoy a bottle (the whole bottle) once a week would rarely be truthful, because it’s usually two, but with warm weather this week? Maybe more. This wine though…the beauty in it, for me, is a perfect balance of subtle components. The aroma — delicate, a little bit of ginger and honeysuckle. The fruit — modest, with light cameos from pear and yellow apple. Some lasting savory, biscuity notes from being bottle-fermented, too. Wow. Basically, it goes. It’s great. I love it! You’ll love it!
