My personal summer solstice celebration was beautifully punctuated by the ethereal and somewhat whimsical qualities within this bottle — aromatics of lemon balm, queen anne's lace, and muted straw instantly lure you into the glass. Begging for you to give this a big mouth-swish you will find deep notes of plush honeydew (think close to the rind), white peach, and orange azalea flowers. Fleur loves this rosé for the complexity that emerges after those first upfront flavors knock you for a loop. Being all of 5-foot-nothing, I have always had a great affection for the old adage: "Dynamite comes in small packages." What Are We Drinking Now? Mythology Botanical Gin from Denver, CO (that’s pretty close by!)

Mythology makes this botanical gin, but the exquisite flavor is anything but mythological. Time to batch out a giant g&t and go look at some plants. For those unaware, our beloved Denver Botanic Gardens is back open, and this timely collaboration with Mythology uses ingredients grown inside the gates. This gin is fresh and zesty, with mild peppercorn and bright citrus. My next move is to see how it stands up in a martini, but i think it's a fair presumption that a beautiful thing awaits.
